What I am offering you is my apartment (Sant’Agostino) as well as four other apartments that belong to my friends. Renting from me is a very personal experience. Your contact in Tuscany will , in most cases, be the owner of the apartment and if you rent mine, you will be met by my personal friend, Alda. You will be welcomed with a bottle of Spumante, Alda will help settle you in and you will always have my mobile number should you need any help whatsoever. This help is available not just for matters relative to the apartment, but also for personal help, should you find yourself in trouble. All apartments are in the historic centre of San Gimignano with parking facilities less than three minutes walk. Being a local, I have contacts and can advise you on the best restaurants, help with car hire, motor scooter hire and even where the best ice cream is sold. San Gimignano is located in the centre of Tuscany , about 40kms south of Florence, 30kms north of Siena and within 12 kms of various beautiful villages that make Tuscany famous. Prices are as follows: High Season (April to July) 1 bedroom (2 people) A$1,300.00 per week 1 b/r plus divan (4 people) A$1,500.00 per week 2 bedroom (2 people) A$1,400.00 per week 2 bedroom (4 people) A$1,700.00 per week 3 bedroom (4 people) A$1,700.00 per week 3 bedroom (6 people) A$2,400.00 per week Mid Season (August to November) As above less 5% Low Season (December to March) As above less 10% Any booking of 2 weeks or longer will receive a discount of 10% Payment: 30% on confirmation. 70% four weeks before taking up residency. Cancellations: The 30% deposit is not refundable. The 70% (if already paid) will be refunded only if the apartment is re-let for the same period.
